I've been designing websites for over five years and binge reading regency romance since well before a certain duke made it everyone's personality.
After years of designing for all kinds of creatives, I kept coming back to author projects. Something about them just clicked. So I stopped fighting it and built Meet Cute Design, a studio made specifically for the people behind the books.

Very common, and not a dealbreaker. A great headshot goes a long way, and many romance authors use styled stock photography that fits their genre aesthetic. I can point you toward good options on your kickoff call. Don't let imperfect photos be the reason you delay your launch.
